In a Rhode Island state of mind...

It's crazy how much can happen inside the space of a few tiny weeks. This time last month, we were loading up the car, the travel trunk, and the dog to journey to Rhode Island! Our route took us from Indianapolis to Cleveland, through Buffalo, and right into Kingstown, Rhode Island. THE VIEWS, YOU GUYS...

First things first, we checked into the B&B (cutest little thing! come back Thursday for more details about our stay!), got Daisy settled into the room, and ventured out in search of food. Maybe it was all the crisp air. Maybe it was the 9+ hours in the car. But this girl was STARVING. Do yourself a favor if you're ever in the area, visit the Newport Creamery and get yourself an Awful Awful.

Saturday, we explored the Rhode Island coastline in the town of Newport. We stumbled up on the Bowen's Wharf Annual Seafood Festival. The day was beautiful - clear and chilly - and we watched the crowds drinking and dancing and having a grand ol' time. Of course, I had to get my #basic fix with a PSL and a pumpkin cookie from Starbs. I mean, what else is a girl to do in the most perfectly New England coastal town there ever was?!

We explored until our ears turned to ice chips in the brisk winds. Everything was beautiful in every direction. We rounded out the night with some killer sushi and a Sam Adams brew. We had SO MUCH FUN in Rhode Island. I can't wait to go back, and maybe swing through Stars Hollow for a cup of coffee at Luke's! Cheers!

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow to link up your confessions!

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
