What's your fafafafan-ta-see?

GUYS. It's the opposite of the most wonderful time of the year. Sure, there's still a full month of summer weather on the horizon and plenty of baseball games and fair foods and general revelry to enjoy. So what if I get to volunteer with an independent art fest next week or sip on iced coffee for another six weeks? I DON'T CARE because winter Fantasy Football. is. coming.

I'm not sure if I can express with mere words the possession that comes over my boyfriend during football season. As in, his phone is always dead because he's always on it. He's always chuckling at Facebook messages that turn out to be smacktalk from across the country. Oh, and did I mention that his fantasy league actually MEETS UP IN WASHINGTON DC for their draft?? Because that's normal. If you want to hang out in the next - oh, half a year - hit me up. I'll be clawing my eyes out because that one wide receiver who everyone knew was overrated actually just scored 8,000 fantasy points but James benched him and he needs to share every bloody detail. Twice.

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!

  1. Ahhh yes...the blessing and curse of fantasy football. I actually love and usually take part in multiple leagues, but I don't take it THAT seriously because they aren't pay leagues. His team actually drafts in Washington, D.C.?! I'm kinda jealous honestly...haha!

    1. Nice! I tried to do Fantasy last year and, straight out of the gate, I picked Adrien Peterson and we all know how that went. No amount of research seemed to change the outcome of a week! I prefer games where I can see more results for my effort. lol Glad you enjoy it!

  2. Hahahaha I am super excited about football season, but my husband and I don't get in to fantasy football. I am afraid though that it is just a matter of time before he wants to. I will enjoy it while I can!

    1. I love watching games too! I love going to games even more. But he really gets obsessed and it's a little scary how many details he knows about these players. lol Definitely enjoy it now if there's even a hint of a possibility for the future! ;)

  4. I feel your pain lol. I'm not a fan of football at all and for the next 7 months every Sunday I will be tortured by it. I'm already making plans to get myself out of the house on Sundays
