"It takes courage to grow up and become who you are." - e.e. cummings

Well, hello! Fancy meeting you here. :)
I am beyond excited about this new blog design / layout! In blogland, as in life, I suppose we all have to take our baby steps towards the ultimate, right? This new design offers some fun options that I haven't really worked with, so bear with me on "labels" and my cool new "menu" at the top right. Also, I think I've updated all social media icons, but if you end up in a weird place, shoot me an email, plz. Anticipating a few hiccups, to say the least.

A few things I'm super excited about in life right now:
  • online fitness accountability group
  • super busy web design schedule
  • Daisy's puppy classes
  • helping one of my best friends design her wedding invitation (tomorrow!)
  • having groceries delivered to my door
  • working with a personal trainer
  • delving into a new role at my day job
  • this Pandora station (it's asked me if I'm still here 3 times today #workaholic)
  • small business expo in September (I'm a vendor!)
Hopefully, these will be posts (along with many others!) now that I'm super in love with my bloggy space! I'd been feeling a bit blah with the blogging biz, and I've heard that "lifestyle" blogs are on the outs. As in, everybody needs to get commercialized or GTeffO. They're all, "Become a professional blogger and review brands and get paid to pimp out your words and basically alienate anybody who might actually care about who you are or else!!" ....

Also, this is my legit signature you'll see at the bottom of posts now. Yeah! That makes me way too happy for my brain to be considered "normal." It's going to be torture to drag myself away from post-scheduling in favor of working with clients' web design needs, and that's saying something because I LOVE web design. ...so yeah.

Don't be shy. What do you think??!

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
