I'm really excited to be a part of School on Wheels' first ever #ShareTheLoveIndy campaign in the month of February. And no, it's not just because I got to make the graphic. (but... I mean, I did an okay job, right?)
For real though, there's a lot of great work going on here as homeless kids all over Indianapolis are receiving tutoring and support, and their parents are learning the ropes of Parent-Teacher conferences or how to get more schooling themselves!
If you had an educational mentor growing up, or have ever felt the pangs of too-little-to-go-around-itis, or passionately believe education is the answer to all the world's problems (like, that's legit my #1 game-changer for world peace, ending world hunger, ending war, implementing siestas in all countries and cultures, etc), then I would LOVE to invite you to be a part of ShareTheLoveIndy!
We're tweeting, sharing stories, changing our profile pictures, using hashtags, and giving what we can to a great cause.* So, like, no pressure, team. Just a bunch of enthusiasm!!!!
If you'd like to be a game-changer this month with us, here's the profile pic image that you're more than welcome to use and share. Right click, "Save As," and post that puppy. ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks for letting me gush and share about all this.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

*On a personal note, I gave $15 to the campaign. Because I'm poor and raising a kid now, but I couldn't NOT participate in this. We're not talking mega bucks, just sharing a little love. ♥
