the sunday currently

reading  A Map of the World by Jane Hamilton but not totally in love with it. But I also started The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan this week, which I've heard of, but had no clue what it was actually about. I've bought a million books lately. Now, I just need time to read them all!

writing  calendars, schedules, and task lists. Lists are legit saving my life these days.

listening  to White Collar, since my roommates are obsessed with it.

thinking  that my lower back is in a lot more pain than usual. Not sure what's going on there...

smelling  Peppermint Mocha candle. Ummm, can you say YUMM?

wishing  I had about 3 more hours in a day. Sleeping is overrated anyway, right?

hoping  this week marks the last of the frigid temps this winter.

wearing  a pair of scrubs and a hoodie. Like, the most comfortable I've ever been in my life.

wanting  a long, slow, no-work-allowed visit to the beach, with the sun on my face and the wind in my hair and a mojito in my hand.

needing  to see how our budgeting plan will go in February. I'm cautiously optimistic because [confession] we kind of suck at managing our monies. #hereshoping

feeling  sleepy and interested and like I need a good, long vacation.

clicking  this. and this.

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!

  1. I could seriously use that trip to the beach too!

  2. I love lists! The best parts are crossing things off of them...sometimes I'll add something to it that was not there originally just so that I can then cross it off =)

  3. Oh the beach. Yep sounds so good. It dropped 40 degrees here in 5 1/2 hours. Lame, Kansas. Lame. I've been buying so many books too. But I just haven't had the itch to read... and half hearted reading doesn't typically work for me. So busy these days. More so than some of my college time.. how does that work?? Need to carve out some serious reading time! We are so not good at budgeting either. Um the Mint App is a lifesaver. It tracks our accounts and we can make budgets on it. :) Other than that its figuring out how much to save and how much to budget for fun stuff each month. :) Good luck! -Alexandra

  4. managing money is hard. i need more self discipline

  5. Starting a small business can mean lots of tough choices, and picking a phone service is no exception. Do you need a Business Phone Service? The answer can depend on what business you're building, and how much flexibility you need.
