the sunday currently

reading  American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld. SO close to finishing this one! Has anyone else read it? I'd love to discuss your take on it.

writing  this post, which is the only thing I've written in three days. I've taken this Turkey Day vacation very seriously.

 listening  Dexter episodes. Thank you, Netflix!

thinking  that it's so incredibly nice to spend a few days relaxing with family, and nicer still, to head home afterwards. I never appreciate my own place as much as I do when I've been gone from it for a while.

smelling  the wood heat wafting up from the furnace in the basement of James's family's old farm house.

wishing  that I had made myself workout on Friday because now I have to do it today. This is going to hurt, lovelies.

 hoping  this contented feeling of love and peace lasts throughout the next few stressful Holiday weeks.

wearing  leggings, fuzzy socks, and a cashmere sweater that looks way better on me than a certain science teacher I know, so I should probably just keep it...

wanting  to find a charger cord since now we have my phone AND an iPad in need of the S4 charger, but I think I left mine in Cleveland. waaaa. I want to play with the new toy!

needing  to get caught up on a million things and then get started on a million other things.

feeling  happy and content, and really ready to get back to our quiet little place in Indy.

clicking  through photos from the past year to submit to the annual Family Calendar. My first appearance as it's James's side who creates the calendar. Looking back at the photos.... well, we did a lot this year!

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!

  1. I haven't worked out for a week because I've been trying to get some housework that I've been putting off done... I'm looking forward to and not looking forward to my workout tomorrow! I hope yours went well. Visiting from the link up. :)
