The Sunday Currently

 reading  Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. SO glad to have come across an engaging, can't-put-it-down novel in the Top 100 series! This is the first time that's happened in a while!

 writing  event planning schedules and plans for the Boys and Girls Club event in April. How stinking cool is that?! Me, little Sarah, doing real-life stuff that has real-life implications! Unreal. :)

 listening  to, as always, the rise and fall of ocean tides outside my window. I'm going to look back on these Currentlies and sigh someday soon. I don't think I'll never get too much of the ocean.

 thinking  about grabbing a beer before I finish typing this up! Also, drafting blog posts for the coming week so that I'll have plenty of free time to hang out with Miss E. E. Snapp while she's here! Can't believe I'm finally reunited with my bestie!

 smelling  nothing. Is this weird? Are people usually smelling something?

 wishing  my favorite snacks were healthier but knowing that just ain't gonna happen, so this 9 mile run today is gonna suck but is abso-stinking-lutely necessary.

 hoping  I've found some mental peace for a little while. So much inner turmoil going on inside the ol' noggin these days. #RestPlz

 wearing  workout gear. After the run, and perhaps a shower, I'll pick out a dress for the day.

 wanting  donuts, Oreos, chocolate, Doritos, Diet Coke, and beer.

 needing  to hire a nutritionist apparently. lol Have you been noticing a trend in this post?? Maybe I'm just hungry...

 feeling  pretty stinking lucky to have such amazing people in my life. I would be lost without them.

 clicking  this list that's been circulating lately, sent to me by a handsome, bearded fellow.

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!

  2. I could use a beer... hmmm.. sounds great. Haha I know what you mean by smelling nothing. And scent is such a powerful thing... I feel like we should always be smelling something happy and good, right? Happy Sunday.

  5. i neeeeeeeeed a can't-put-it-down book. maybe i should try birdsong?

    that's funny what you said about smelling, because the truth is, i'm not always smelling something either. my nose only works sometimes, & half the time, it's because i'm trying to smell something. i realize this is weird. but, it's true.

    and i completely identify with your 'wanting' list - ummmmm mint oreos, after they've sat in the fridge for a while? my own personal heaven on earth. for realz.
