My 3 Favorite Things About Us

1. We laugh. A lot.
Making up stories about the kids on the playground or the people in the car next to us or what Ralph is thinking. Sharing someecards, puns [I did a theatrical performance about puns. Really it was just a play on words], ERMAHGERDs, stand-up comedians, making fools of ourselves ["Do I seem that drunk to you?" as I lean back on the bed, completely overshoot the edge, and take rolling dive onto floor, nothing hurt but my pride... and yeah, apparently I was that drunk], sarcasm like it's our job, bragging ourselves way way too up and then giggling at our own hilarity. When we fight or disagree or are just too exhausted, you find a way to make me laugh and the next thing we know, all is right again. We are friends, buds, lifers.
2. We keep it real.
Sometimes we talk about politics and life-after-death and how to live with character and who our role models are and what we could be doing more of and what life will be like in 10, 20, 50 years and what constitutes good music and why some books make it into the canon and if there really are careers as bloggers or tweeters and what it will be like when our parents or grandparents pass away and what kind of parents we think we'd be and people we know who should not be parenting and how to budget our monies and when or where or how to travel to all the places we want to go and what's the most important thing to us and if we have any of it figured out yet or are still just floundering along like the rest of them.
3.  We are comfortable.
You know things about me that no one else does, but you still like me. Weird. Sometimes, we fart and then pick on each other for how bad it smells. Sometimes, we flush when we're on the phone with each other and don't even flinch. Sometimes, I'm tipsy and get just a tad too frisky in a public place and you just laugh and say, "This is why I love you." Sometimes, we dance. We dance terribly, but we dance. You send me song lyrics and I know exactly which song they're from and why you're listening to it. We talk about deeply personal things, death and grief and how to stay motivated and relationship drama. We can talk for hours or just sit comfortably in silence, and we both know we'd rather be here than anywhere else.
Some people just get you, you know?

Love you, my crazy yet hilarious yet wildly intelligent yet incredibly attractive [how is that fair?] loves of my life

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
