Friday's Letters

Holy cow! Friday again already?!

Dear Election, Can you please just be over? Let's just draw a name out of the hat and get it over with. Please. Dear The Devil in the White City, You are awesome! I'm so glad I got to read you! I'll definitely be recommending you to everyone! Dear Cold, I recognize that I have a pretty sweet body and a charming personality so I can see why you've set up camp inside there. However, you gotta go! The gagging-on-phlegm-thing just isn't working for me. Dear Grad School, 13 weeks! Dear Dress Dare, I. Am. Pumped. Can it be January please?!? Dear Crafts, I've been neglecting you. I miss you. It's totally not you. It's me. Let's plan something, yeah? Dear Mae West, I will always love you. Dear Carly, Following your shenanigans with moving and getting a cool job and such really makes me wish it was January once again! Time for new and exciting things! Dear Ashley, You're killing me with this link up! I look forward to it each week and it's been a bit spotty. I kind of live for this, woman. ;) Dear Beach-oriented Job Search, This is too exciting! You're gonna make me ink. Dear Blog Friends, Is everyone else in a bit of a blogging funk / writer's block / lacking inspiration lately or is it just me? Dear Life, You are indeed. Dear, that is. :)

  1. I couldn't agree more about the election. I am so disillusioned. And SO over it.

I've heard great things about DITWC. I need a new book to read so maybe I'll check it out!

I LOVE your blog! And this dress dare! Sorry, but I am about to follow you in every way possible when I'm done with this comment. I'm calling you my new friend, whether you like it or not. ;) (this is me, by the way: http://likeordinarylife.com/ )

    And as for the link-up, she's killing me, too. :) I think I'm a Friday's Letters addict! I need a support group!

  3. I'm ready for the election to be over, for sure! And I always hate the feeling when I'm neglecting my crafts. As for the dress dare--I kind of feel like I've been on it for a bit, I've worn dresses or skirts every day this week! :P I love wearing dresses, and I've been wearing them lately much more than I ever did before. Do skirts count in your dare, or are you strictly dresses?

    1. Skirts totally count! As do skorts. Monica even wants to wear workout skirts... I am not sure how I feel about that one but a dare is a dare! haha. Glad to have more dress fans in the world! Excited to explore your blog too!

  4. I love book recommendations! I'll have to check that one out! And I just read up on the dress dare - what a fun idea!! In socal I've been wearing dresses mainly out of necessity in this heat, but it should be fun trying to work dresses into my winter wardrobe haha
I'm thrilled to be your newest follower and would love it if you could return the follow if you get the chance and wish to :)

  5. So, I don't think I've ever commented on your blog before, and I've read only a few entries, but I think you might become one of my new regular blogs to follow. Quirky, fun, and real. Also, I LOVE the Devil in the White City and just recommended it to my fiance, so the fact that someone else just mentioned it... winning.
