Hump Day :: Lovely Lady Lumps

Mmmm. Okay. This blog title is in no way related to anything other than the fact that it's Wednesday. Just... clarifying. :)

I forgot how hard it can be to blog once classes start back up. Tonight, we're half way through the week and I have two more night classes. Tonight is Nonprofit Marketing (!!) and Thursday is Statistics (not so "!!"). Friday, the hosts of our social committee are putting on the annual Wine and Cheese mixer and I've volunteered to bake cookies. Which, seeing as I no longer have time to workout, I won't be eating.

At some point this week, I need to finish The Devil in the White City since Book Club meets on Sunday. And, in the midst of all this, I still haven't finished the baby blanket for my new little cuzzo! Yikes!

In the mean time, I spent my one weekday evening of freedom [Tuesday] on my hands and knees scrubbing the carpet in our apartment in preparation for moving out at the end of the November. Not looking forward to repainting and cleaning and packing and everything else that goes with BUT I am very much looking forward to the beach. Opportunity cost, as they say. So we'll be packing and painting and moving just in time for my final finals.

C'est la vie, right?

Oh, and I know I'm about to embark on this year of dresses so I am SO glad I don't have the cash to drop on these adorable pants I discovered via The College Prepster because I would SO be going there.

ps. Congrats once again, CP, on joining The Levo League

Blog pals, if you're not already surfing this incredible site for resources, advice, and potential jobs (!!) then you are missing out, my dears. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You're welcome. :)

Alright, back to work. Emails and tours and gifts needing processed are calling my name. Cheers to having productive Wednesdays!

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
