Graduation, Dream Walking, and an Internship! [Welcome to My Life]

The next few days are action-packed with some really exciting things!

Today at work, we were finally able to sit down and have HotBox Pizza for my birthday luncheon! mmMMmm :)

After work, I'm headed down to good ol' Brown County to celebrate my brother's graduation! Yikes! I can't believe that's actually happening already.... [pics to follow!]

Then, it's back up to Indy to get some good sleep before heading downtown to the Canal tomorrow morning for Walking for Dreams! Last year, it poured rain before the Walk and then turned out to be beautifully sunny the rest of the afternoon. This year, I'm thinking we may have to hit up Mug-n-Bun for lunch afterwards, an Indianapolis staple that I have yet to experience / enjoy. [I'll take one of everything, please.]

Monday marks my very first day of interning with Brooke's Place on the north side! I am so excited about the projects I'll be working on and all of the learning I'm bound to do and, of course, for my fabulous internship supervisor [Ms. Sherry Sutton] to teach me everything she knows!

Tuesday, as usual, back to the grind. Great news, though! My boss, who has been ill and out of the office since the beginning of May, is doing so well and hopes to be back in business in the next few weeks! I can't wait to get him back in here! I miss the little guy.

Whew. Do hear that? That's the sound of life whooshing by at a million miles per second. Better jump on that train. What are you up to this weekend? Do you have any graduates of your own? Give them all my best!

Kittens and Cake Pops,

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
