If you've been reading along, you know that my apartment was broken into, burglarized, and my car was stolen back in January.
My renters insurance is in the process of "processing my claim" and they have "a few questions."

Why didn't you make note of any damage done to the lock on the patio door?

Because the security bar was
bent in half so I wasn't really
paying a lot of attention to the little latch.

So your old roommate had a key, but she returned it? You do or do not suspect your old roommate?
I do not.
I suspect my shady neighbors
I wish I had their names so you
could look up their police records.

You were home at the time and you didn't hear anything when someone broke in through your patio?
Ummmm, no
But it wouldn't have changed anything if I had.
What would you like me to do?
Come at the guy with a bat?
And thank you for reminding me of
how creepy that was in the first place
while simultaneously implying that my
not hearing the burglar is
somehow suspicious.

If there is anything else I can do to help, let me know.

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
