A Most Important "Dash of Sass"

Quote of the Day:
“It amazes me how easy it is for things to change, how easy it is to start off down the same road you always take and wind up somewhere new. Just one false step, one pause, one detour, and you end up with new friends or a boyfriend or a breakup. It's never occurred to me before; I've never been able to see it. And it makes me feel, weirdly, like maybe all of these different possibilities exist at the same time, like each moment we live has a thousand other moments layered underneath it that look different.” ~Lauren Oliver
The Single Woman Says:
If there is one word I hope you embrace in 2012, it is POSSIBILITY.
Possibility that perhaps, underneath all of the thousands of seemingly insignificant decisions we make every single day, there is something bigger at work. Something pushing us toward our destiny. A divine plan that knows who we are and where we’re meant to be and how to get us there. It’s easy to become discouraged when we stumble, or take a wrong turn, or miss out on what looked like an amazing opportunity…but what if…just WHAT IF…there’s a reason for all of it? What if that stumble prevented an even bigger fall? What if that wrong turn took us to the RIGHT place? And what if that opportunity was meant to be missed so we could seize an even better one?
Today: I hope you realize that anything is possible...and that sometimes serendipity comes knocking on your door in the form of a detour, or an obstacle, or even a breakup. And as they say in the movie New Years Eve, “You don’t mess with serendipity.” Trust that in the end, it all works together for your good, even when you can’t see it at the time. Just like a puzzle, it takes time for all of the pieces of your life to come together. But when you dwell in possibility, you trust that unseen forces are working to turn all those jumbled pieces into a beautiful masterpiece. And though you may not get there today, or even tomorrow…you WILL get there.

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
