Smile :)

Tonight, we learned about smiling.

Seeing someone smile activates Mirror Neurons

Science explains:
When you see someone smile, for example,
your mirror neurons for smiling fire up, too,
creating a sensation in your own mind of the
feeling associated with smiling.
You don’t have to think about what the
other person intends by smiling.
You experience the meaning
immediately and effortlessly.

Just in case you don't know: How to Smile wikiHow.

And for your viewing pleasure,
a little Kirk Franklin "Smile" action.

Smile

  • for memories,
like when Cassie and I frolicked in the freezing cold ocean on spring break this year.
It was salty and cold and we had the most fun. We played and splashed and chased gulls and dunked our whole heads under. Divine.
  • for music, like the "Girl look at that body. Girl look at the body. Girl look at that body. .... I workout. I'm sexy and I know it" song. It's so ludicrous (and apparently LMFAO knows me and felt like writing me a theme song).
  • for reaching goals, like the end of the semester that is in sight!
  • for good friends and good food and good wine.
  • for flirting and laughing and holding hands with someone new.
  • for Ralph and Giorgio.

Just.... smile. :)

Sarah :: Plucky in Love

Sarah, aka "Plucky", blogs on the reg, unless she's on vacation or there's a Pretty Little Liars marathon or she's mulling over the implications of the phrase "on fleek." She can't live without iced coffee, a portable phone charger, or equal pay. Say hello!
